FedGym (also known as the Fitness Center) has two workout spaces in the new Federal Building at 90 Seventh Street:
Both the Basement and Annex Gyms have separate men’s and women’s locker/shower facilities. Membership is open to employees and contractors of the New Federal Building and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Building. Dues are based on a sliding scale related to the employee´s grade. While FedGym offers a membership discount at its annual July Open House, you can join anytime. FedGym provides a variety of equipment (weight-lifting machines, dumbbells, stationary bikes, elliptical trainers and treadmills) and classes to its members. In addition, FedGym provides flat panel televisions, postings on fitness and health topics and suggested jogging routes. The Fitness Committee, composed of volunteers from the various agencies, oversees the operations of the Fitness Center. Feel free to contact your Fitness Committee representative with any questions. |
